It happens to almost everyone at some point in our lives; setbacks, obstacles – whether career, financial or health-related, obstacles are unavoidable and we find ourselves out of sync with our goal. How do we stay on track? How do we overcome this inconvenient and untimely obstacles that appear suddenly and try to keep us from success in the goals we have set?

I have found that the first and most common obstacle that most people can identify with is that often, there is no clear definition of the target. This alone can cause you to sabotage the road to success before you even start. Without a clear goal, a destination to direct efforts and energy, you will find that you have created the first hurdle to keep you from success. Clarity of objectives is difficult to detect in a few short phrases, if you really have no idea what it is you want to achieve.

Now, before you continue reading, do this exercise; Think about what it is you want to achieve. What is the burning desire, the goals you want to achieve? Set your mind to face and answer this question. Take the time to write it out, then change, change, change so that you have it in your mind, and can made that clear in a few short sentences. This forces you to be concise and will remove much of the external “sidebar targets” that can draw you away from the main focus or goal.

Next, recognize that you may be prevented success. Are you prone to whitewash some negative habits and ‘it’s just as I am? “Be honest and realistic with yourself. Identify these habits so that you can watch and recognize them as you set out on a journey toward a goal life.

Most people, if you were to ask them would readily agree that fear and doubt are two of the main obstacles that keep them from pursuing their dreams, desires, or their goal. But we will focus on further and get specific.

Sometimes, it is advisable to seek outside assistance from people who truly care about the well-being and success. Ask them to be honest with you and help you identify negative habits, symptoms, symptoms that impede your ability to achieve your success. This can be difficult if you have a sense of pride, low self-esteem, or think you have all the answers. However, it is also important to make sure that you ask only those individuals who you trust implicitly to give you honest answers.

Once you have identified a list of habits or obstacles;

  • Write them down then suggest at least three possible solutions to help you overcome them.
