Every time you encounter one of the bad habits in the day, step aside and write it down. Do your best to steer yourself in the right direction, no matter what it takes. Discuss this later, and pride yourself on overcoming the old, bad self!
  10. If you are near someone, have them jot down thoughts about you during the day as well. Sometimes, you saw through the point of any review can help you figure out what you’re doing wrong, or right, or open your eyes to things you do not even know that you should work to improve. How to achieve great things by Burning Your Boats and cutting-Off Retreat ways

[ad_1]

Famous quotes and words are great and invaluable nuggets of inspiration in the face of difficulties and uncertainties. Often, dissipated and anxious mind finds focus and motivation just by reading a relevant quote, or saying to the other person who has experienced the same situation and won. Many noble achievement has been made possible with inspiration drawn from reading and carefully digest what the other person said about a particular challenge, problem or situation.

You do not have to read the book to find strength in the moment of weakness or inspiration in the moment of despair. When it comes to finding inspiration in moments doubts and uncertainties, many find quotes Napoleon Hill is as invaluable and very useful resources.

This article is the first in a series of articles about self-motivation. In this series, we shall consider some of the most inspirational quotes by selecting one of the authors of quotations and famous websites speech I made just recently. In this article, we shall touch on the need to burn all sources of retreat in our companies, as recommended by Napoleon Hill.

burn Boats

“Every person who wins in any undertaking must be willing to cut all sources of retreat . Only by doing so can one be sure of maintaining that state of mind known as a burning desire to win -. essential to success “- Napoleon Hill

“. When the military has been across the border, you should burn the boats you and bridges, in order to make it clear to everyone that you have no hankering after home “- Tu Mu

History of Alexander the great

On 1 October 331 BC, with an army of 35,000 men, Alexander the great defeated Darius king of Persia in one of the most decisive battles in history! army Alexander was very struck by the Persian enemies. Historians agree that Darius’ army was made up of between 200,000 to 1,000,000 people. Yet in a series of dramatic and better technology, Alexander managed to defeat the Persians and wore them.

Alexander was a military genius, and reliable best officer who ever lived. However, something dramatic and decisive happened before this fight, which many historians believe may be responsible for this great victory.

we came to the shores of Persia, Alexander and his army discovered that they were visibly outnumbered. Obviously at a disadvantage, lost people his heart and asked young leaders (Alexander) to delay the attack. He was encouraged to go back and get more men and reinforcements. Alexander responded by ordering men to burn their boats. As the only means of retreat went up in flames, legend has it that Alexander turned to his men and said: “We go home in Persian ships or we die.”

This act of burning the boats sent a clear message among his army, who survive, they must win this war. They put themselves in “no retreat, no surrender situation.” Float under review, Alexander and his men charged with singular determination to win at all costs. It was with this same intent of the Battle of Issus, Darius men Alexander was forced to flee, leaving the field and victory Alexander and his army.

The History of Hernán Cortés

In 1519, a Spanish conquistador, Hernán Cortés, put out 600 Spaniards to conquer Mexico, which was rich in priceless treasures of gold, silver and precious jewels Aztec among others.

This daredevil, daring business was done rather insurmountable because for more than 600 years, better conquerors with more military hardware and personnel who attempted to colonize the same area had not woefully.

aware of this, Hernán Cortés decided to do it differently. After landing by force of his 600 men on earth Mayans, Cortés prepared his troops after a long and careful persuasive speeches. However, before invading the country to face his enemies, he ordered his armies to burn all their boats! This singular act, he and his men spent only close their strategy! With these three critical words – BORN boats – there was only one back in his camp: Victory! The defeat meant certain death. Because of this singular act, Cortés became the first man to conquer Mexico for 600 years!

This is the attitude necessary to succeed! For a man to succeed in great things, that one must cut off all escape routes and no means of retreat. There are often many good projects abandoned on the verge of success by retreating just before the revolution. Adversity is tempting premise retreat. However, no means of retreat, but constructed in spite of great difficulties is the safest way to major success.

The Story General Tariq Ibn Ziyad

General Tariq Ibn Ziyad, the Muslim general who led the Islamic conquest of Visigothic Hispania in 711-718 AD His famous military conquest of Spain happened when Musa Ibn Nusayr, the then governor of North Africa (Morocco Today) was approached by Count Julian to help him bring down the power of the king Roderic Spain. It is reported that when Roderic came to power, Julian, the nobleman sent his daughter to the court on Visigothic king to get an education. However, the king (Roderic) raped the daughter of Julian. Julian was angry. After that, he vowed to bring down the state Roderic.

by Julian made a deal with Tariq, he communicated secretly Muslim controlled Tariq across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain.

Tariq and his men were far outnumbered by the Spaniards. His arrival on the coast of Spain did the Spanish king both surprised and angry. He vowed publicly to crush the invaders and push them into the sea to drown.

As Roderic accessed by a vast, his superior and formidable army, the Muslim invaders were shaken and many of the soldiers began to lose heart. When Tariq noticed this, he orders the most critical mission: He ordered his men to burn all the boats that carried them across the Strait of Gibraltar to Spain. After his orders were made, Tariq addressed his men as follows:

“Brothers in Islam We now have the enemy in front of us and the deep sea behind us we can not go back home because we have burned boats !. us. We shall now either defeat the enemy and win, or die a coward’s death by drowning in the sea! “

with these words, the North Africans charged the enemy with only one resolution – to work! Spaniards were confused and defeated. Roderic King, with much of his army was routed.

Today, the famous rock – Gibraltar – is named after this great general, Tarig. The name “Gibraltar” is the Spanish derivation of the Arabic name Jabal-at-Tariq, meaning “mountain of Tariq”

exploitation

three events above, both from history , clearly indicate that performance is often made possible only when there is not any way for retreat. This is somewhat like sage suggestion to put all your eggs in one basket and watch that basket carefully! Cut off retreat off your helps you focus your mind, energy and devotion to achieve what it is you’ve set out to achieve. A whole book can be written about the importance of the burning boat people. In this discussion, however, should we just consider only some applications, particularly where it concerns to deal with seemingly impossible situations.

Make up your mind that nothing you put out to achieve the impossible: One of the places boats every serious man and woman need to burn the fallacy that what you desire to do or achieve are impossible. This boat will be burned in each task you set out to achieve. And this boat must be burned always at the beginning of each project. Whatever you set your mind to achieve, you firmly believe that it is possible to implement it, or else you might just as well not bother to even try!

Jesus Christ, but taught his disciples, told them, “All things are possible to him who believes!”

Is it possible for you to be the wealthiest man in your country? The answer is, all you can believe that! Do you believe? If you do, then it is indeed possible!

In 1906, Simon Newcomb, professor of mathematics and astronomy at Johns Hopkins University, a leading authority in search of a flying machine, declared that “The demonstration that no possible combination of known substances, known forms of machinery and known forms of value, can be united in a practical machine that man shall fly long distances through the air, seems to the writer as complete as possible for the promotion of physical reality be. “Two months after this statement, the Wright brothers made the historic flight their Kitty Hawk, show once and for all that “impossible” is always just opinion!

Below are carefully selected quotes that I have compiled of some of the great sages in history. Read these quotes well and digest their essence!

  • “We are all faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as impossible situations.” – Charles R. Swindoll
  • “It always seems impossible until its done.” – Nelson Mandela
  • “Nothing is impossible Some things are just less likely than others ..” – Jonathan Winters
  • “The difficult is what takes a little time ;. Impossible is it takes a little longer” – Fridtjof Nansen
  • “.. by trying to do the impossible, man has always managed it is possible that they have done more cautiously than they believed possible have never taken one step forward” – Mikhail Bakunin
  • “in order to achieve the impossible, it is just impossible to think.” – Tom Robbins
  • “limits can only be defined by going beyond them into the impossible.” – Arthur C. Clarke
  • “. Everything is theoretically impossible until it is done” – Robert A. Heinlein
  • “. The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a man’s decision” – Tommy Lasorda
  • “.. I would not say anything is impossible I think everything is possible as long as you put your mind to it and put effort and time into it” – Michael Phelps
  • “Most of the things worth doing in the world had been declared impossible before they were done.” – Louis D. Brandeis
  • “There is nothing impossible to him who will try.” – Alexander the Great
  • “The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they try to impossible -. And achieve it, generation after generation” – Pearl S. Buck

Burn all retreat boats in one – or go home! Every now and then, we all need to evaluate our lives and catch a retreat boats that are preventing us from achieving what we desire to achieve. When these boats are identified, they must be burned in one. Leaving these routes open retreat often prevent us from progress we seek desperately.

One can despair desire to make his marriage work, however, because he still holds extra marital affairs, his intention to make his marriage with a legitimate partner work will be hindered. In this case, all the extra marital affairs escape routes needed to burn. If these boats are burned and do all at once, his mind will be free to focus on the marriage work. A half-hearted intent is almost always destined not!

For some people, are present their work retreat boats needed to burn one! If you want better and fulfilling work, often the only way to get a better job is by letting go of your current job. A cup that is full can not be filled further. For the cup to get a new and fresh content, existing content will be thrown out. The cup must be emptied. Empty your cup of stuff you do not like. You are taking the proper steps. You are burning escape boats of life. This is often a necessary step towards the desired progress and success.

For some, they may find it necessary to reduce the specific substances they abuse often. Many people use materials such as beer and other drugs to relieve temporarily minds and escape reality. However, it is only temporary. These ingredients are a retreat boats luring us aware of life fulfillment and success we hope. When such materials are defined as boats escape, we must emulate the great generals and military strategist above. As Hernán Cortés, we must burn these escape boats and shape of a single mind to victory.

Resolution

In Fast Company (August 2000), entrepreneur Troy Tyler said “Strategy is all about commitment. If what you are doing is not irreversible, then you do not have a strategy – .. because anyone can do it therefore, burning the boats is so important that I have always wanted to treat life like I was invading army and there was no return “

All the great military strategists, business gurus and life coaches emphasize burning boats and cutting off all escape routes. If you want to achieve something great, you must do the same! I wish you the best in your quest for greatness!

Online attraction is easy, but it has certainly put their of skills needed to learn. The reason that you do not have any success with girls on Facebook or other networks, is because you have no idea about the ability attraction online.

First of all you should realize that the girls you’re trying to attract online have no idea who you are, and all the impression they have of you will be entirely dependent on your profile! Profile will be the only way to communicate your personality, achievements, characteristics, preferences and attitudes.

Profile should really communicate all that attracts these girls instead of repulsing them. Simply said, the installation should bring out all the positive aspects of your life. It could be your look, career, social status, wealth, etc. Women love to be with successful people, and if the profile conveys that you are the winner, women would soon be flooded with messages inbox! But to go through some of the profiles on Facebook, it seems that some guys have no idea how to build a winner’s profile. So here is some advice on how to amp up your Facebook profile!

1 Profile Picture

This is an important factor in your profile. You absolutely need to get this right. We have all heard that first impressions matter. And yes, at first glance the girl you depends entirely on your profile picture. If the profile picture of their interests and seem attractive to her, she would go to your profile to know more about you. If the profile photo bores her, she would not even bother looking at your profile. Even if you have plenty of other nice pictures and fun quotes, she would not even know! You will be just one of the hundreds of friends in your friends list her and soon you will be lost in the crowd. Think about it, would you check out the details of the girl, if her profile pic seemed terribly ugly to you? (If you answered “yes” to any chance, go immediately) So how do you get your profile pic right?

Here is how. Your profile picture should move one or more of the following symptoms: Fun, adventurous, Strong, Rich, intelligent and socially safe. The more characteristic profile picture portrays, the better. Try to hit as many as you can with your profile picture image. Let’s say that the profile picture of you with your friends at a party, these media you are entertaining, socially confident and maybe even rich. Suppose a picture of you rock climbing; This conveys that you are adventurous, fun and strong. But of course these are just ideas and you should be smart enough to take images in a way that conveys these qualities. But I hope you get the idea. Try to hit as many of the positive characteristics of a profile picture image. Be creative, but stay reasonable. Do not forget to pay attention to the brightness, contrast and sharpness profile picture. Some pictures are so dull and dark you can not find out who is in it. Do not make this mistake. The new Facebook profile has a new feature a ‘cover photo’. Treat this the same way you would treat a profile picture. Remember feature!

2 ‘About Me’ part

This is a great opportunity for you to tell the girls what you’re passionate about and what you aim to achieve in life. Show that you have a clear purpose and goals in life and you’re having a lot of fun on the way to get there. a person with a purpose is very attractive to women. Keep it short, of course. No one would want to read lengthy paragraphs.

3 favorite quotes

this will show your faith and people that truly inspire you. Fill this section up with motivational quotes and quotes from great personalities related to your career. Even funny quotes would be fine. Just keep it interesting. ‘If you’re going through hell, then just continue! “, or” If I had not seen Disney world in my mind, the rest of the world would have never seen it real’- Walt Disney, are examples of good quotes.

4 Be mindful of what you share and what you connects you to the Facebook

The new newsfeed feature, as soon as you ‘like’ or ‘comment’ a link or post, a whole lot of people will get to know about it immediately. So be careful about what you post and photos “like”. Do not get involved in hate campaigns, racially oriented posts or even sexist material. This reduces picture and if you want to attract girls, you want to maintain a high position. As humans, we are expecting to be in control of our emotions. So show her that you are a strong man who is in control of himself. Also remember never to ‘like’ or ‘comment’ positive images showing half-naked women, or explicit content. Always remember that you need to hold the position of a noble man. This will make girls feel safer to approach you and talk to you online.

5 bridge the gap between your ‘Online self’ Real self

The entire purpose of attracting girls online is to build lasting relationships with them in real life. The online platform obviously makes it easier to access and create attraction within them. But remember online attraction is just the door to get these girls in real life case. So in reality you have to be who you claim to be online. You should not claim that you are a rich businessman traveling around the world, if you are broke in real life. Always be honest about what you say online. Online game is based on trust. Work on yourself to really be the person you want to be. Go workout, educate yourself and work to build a career for you. This way you attract girls online, will be with you in real life! I Love Teamwork – Benefits of creating a great team

[ad_1]

What is it all about

What is teamwork? Why is it that a group of people can be more successful than you win one? I would like to try to answer these questions with reference to my own experience.

Teamwork is obviously a subject about which many seek to know more. If you search the internet for teamwork related resources and a plethora of information turns up for free. Team building activities, teamwork games, teamwork Teamwork motivational articles and quotes be just some of the resources available to the research.

To collect my own thoughts I looked back over my own experience and thought the best team I have worked with, I’ve wondered what made the team much and asked myself questions: Why did the we all work so well together? Why could we achieve more than the sum of our success?

It made me think about what stops teams to work well, too, what prevents them from being a team?

What is it that makes a team great ?

Here’s a few Dictionary definitions:

Team – “two or more persons working together”

Teamwork – “combined action of a team, especially when effective and efficient”.

In my analysis of the key words are “working together” and “the most effective and efficient”.

You see these two short sentences describe me what a great team is all about. I’ll give another dictionary definition before I go on

Team-spirit – the spirit of a group that allows members want the group to succeed

I agree with that definition, there is nothing quite as being a member of a great team, where everyone is working together in harmony, their unique abilities activated suddenly focused. It is really very effective, it makes you feel that together you could achieve anything. You could probably also !!

Why can the team be more effective than one person?

Physical law would tend to indicate that the total capacity of the group should not be more than the sum of the abilities of each team member, and may be slightly reduced due to inefficiencies within the group. Unfortunately, this is often appropriate for many so-called point, because in truth they are just a group of people who suffer from a lack of motivation and individual self-interest, not what I would define as a team. True teams are empowered by team-spirit, willingness to work as a member of the group rather than an individual. Persons authorized under the team-spirit from a much higher motivation and therefore achieve more than they would win one. It follows then that a whole group of people empowered team-spirit will reach more than all its people would only.

What motivates people to work as a team ?

I will never forget my first experience of working with a very inspired team, it was awesome! You can actually feel the energy it generated! I was a member of a large team of engineers, we were all working together to develop gasoline injection system. Every member of the team was great! Development engineers worked with enthusiasm to produce ideas and solutions to solve any challenges that come. The software engineers quickly and easily implemented ideas and solutions, and turned them into practical, working piece of electronic engineering. Application engineers began software system and then made to work effectively, they fettled and set them in the real world solutions. Every member of the team was extremely talented and each of us was driven by the wish to see the team deal, as we did with bells on!

What de-motivates team?

I have also experienced the frustration of working with a group that simply was not passed. I have discovered that even though the group has one or two inspired individuals will still not know whether other members just lay back and bask in the warm light of inspiration. It led me to think hard about what stops a group of companies that will mate or what stops a person from developing team-spirit.

I think the most fundamental factor is the attitude of the individual themselves. While it is possible to make the group a team under difficult circumstances, escaping from a certain way, for example, this effect is only temporary. Prolonged team will only work if all parties have the will and the discipline to act as a team, there is little room for self-interest and no room for laziness, this feature can reduce respect for each other and without singly passed days are numbered. I believe that some members of the group manages to develop team-spirit making it requires some personal growth, a willingness to put aside their own needs and be supported by others. An individual background or psychological makeup can prevent them from taking this important step, they may be able to have regular exposure to full-on team-spirit but some folks just never get there.

How can you create a team

Survival simulation for building a team -? Exercise in the survival of the outdoor team building the center is a great example of forcing the team to work together under difficult circumstances, they have to pull together to get through. I’m not sure how long this type of incentive will last though, as instant boost it certainly is a great idea but will be backed up by more regular exercise team motivation.

courses to improve teamwork – the Internet is littered with companies that can run motivational team workshops to provide regular backup to bigger exercises like the one above.

The Internet – It is a great resource if you are looking for a lower cost solution, there are hundreds of sites that offer free games and teamwork teamwork videos.

Teaching – This is a great way to instill personal respect in the team. Older members Cab offer advice and experience to help younger members to grow in a non-threatening environment.

Personal training – Yet another way to provide individuals with a forum where they can explore their own actions, strengths and weaknesses and use what they find to grow.

Social time – I think it goes without saying that it is important for the team to spend social time together too. Friendships are grown here and it is up to the interests of the team in the long run.

If you want a job to do, build team.

1. Pick individuals carefully, the more motivated and self-aware they are better.

2. keep them motivated with regular events team building.

3. Foster respect by rewarding honesty and integrity at all times. A blame culture will eat away at your team-spirit.

4. Add the self-consciousness of every member with regular training and teaching

5. Create team-spirit and multiply to create an abundance of motivation and ability!

Motivational Stories: Moses Liberator Israel

[ad_1]

Everyone has a purpose in life, no matter how large or small they may seem. Be small or think you are not worth anything should never sway you from achieving something positive in life. Anyone can bring about change, and they do not have to be born rich to bring about this change. The change moving can be a person or thousands of people. This may seem impossible as many seem to never know what life’s path. It’s okay to be unsure of your path where a person is not born with a map of life. Motivation is all one needs to be in a position to achieve its purpose in life and overcome obstacles placed head.

Moses

A good example of someone who overcame all obstacles can be seen in the story of Moses the prophet. Moses was born to Hebrew Israelite family at a time when all male Hebrew children were killed. Hope was lost in Hebrew at the time of many Hebrew parents fear birth to a son only to have a son snatched from their hands. All hope was not lost Hebrew since the baby was born to free them from the hands of terrorism.

This child was none other than Moses, at the time that he was not born Hebrew thought Moses was going to be a great man, let alone that he would live to adulthood. It was through the fate of Moses birth was hidden from the Egyptian authorities, and it was through fate that Moses was approved by the Egyptian princess and raised the Egyptian royal household.

You could say that Moses was raised with the silver spoon, but it dramatically changed as he grew up. To protect a Hebrew, Moses killed the Egyptian and had to flee from everything he knew where he had done something wrong. The desert was not easy for Moses, but it is in the desert, he found true purpose. God called him to help liberate the Hebrews from slavery.

Even with a call from God, Moses was first skeptical since he was stammer and did not think he could lead anyone. He also saw himself as an outcast and not think anyone in their right mind would want to follow him. Moses overcame his fear, however, appointed his brother Aaron as his spokesman and set out what would have of him. Liberate the Hebrews was not smooth sailing from Moses was faced with many trials of Egyptian Pharaoh. Even with these afflictions, Moses still managed to free his people from the time he knew what He was and would not depart from it.

You can learn much from the story of Moses. You learn the decision and have faith in God and yourself can help you succeed. Moses thought of himself as a murderer and traitor yet he still won his past to set out to achieve great things. The past should never hold or prevent you from putting on more positive and fulfilling future in life.

“The Power How” by Tom Stone – businessman’s Review

[ad_1]

Pure Awareness. GAP meditation. Agape technology. Not commonly heard or used words in the business world. But it is possible to book as Tom Stone’s “The Power How” can actually be a powerful business book? In this short book review, I review how power from a purely business owners perspective and will discuss the business applications of this work Tom Stone.

Tom Stone is not your typical business book writer. Although I’ve never met him, I imagine that he is not even aware that he is a business book writer. There are few “motivational quotes,” and even fewer “Business Case program” mentioned in his books. His latest book, The Power of How’s no exception. My first reading was from a purely “personal development” concerns. Like many people, I believe that if I do not grow, I’m dying. Power How wonderful and powerful personal development book, which presents some ancient but very timely means to live in a state “Pure Consciousness.” A situation where your actions / thoughts / decisions are taken off awareness, not from the past, potentially faulty condition. Stone makes a powerful analogy that we humans have internal software that acts as our operating system. As computers, this software can be full of “bugs”, “viruses” or simply be outdated. Upgrades and clean out the software is able to live a life of awareness. Getting rid of these “bugs” is the main focus of this book.

My second reading was from the perspective of the business owner. As many experts in the business, I am thirsty for information / techniques that allow me to add my efficiency. In short, I want to serve my clients better and make more money! When in this mode, I have no time for words like “pure consciousness” nor time for meditation. I want hard and fast tips for immediate improvement that I can implement immediately and realize immediate benefits. And though there are no obvious business improvement tips, this book is full of self-improvement, or rather, self-upgrade ideas, once fully integrated, will show positive results in my business. Understanding that our different areas of life are all connected is the key to realize the power How is business book.

There, the Personal Development side of me is in violation of the Business Owner side. One seeks knowledge during the performance. However, regardless of the “mode” I’m in, there is one irrefutable truth: If the models that I build my decisions on are flawed, are my results likely to be flawed as well. I take the same “mind” to me when I’m negotiating a deal and when I’m watching my son play baseball. The same brain that design successful marketing strategies for my clients is also the same brain that makes decisions about where my family and I will vacation. And if my mind or brain has some “bugs” the opinions and / or design will be flawed as well. Maybe they will be effective, but not as effective as they could be if my operating system was running at full speed.

Tom Stone The Power Of How will most likely never see the boardroom, but is sure to find its way to the tape several EXECUTIVE is. Anyone who wants to improve their efficiency should start by improving themselves. I strongly recommend that those who work for me they read this book; tell them that it is important that they keep an open mind and realize that to improve the operation efficiency of the first, they need to improve!

As for me, I have experienced amazing results using this book, and has also seen an unexpected improvement in my business suit. Remove faulty programming and “upgrade my operating system,” (two great similar) has been one of the most dramatic improvements life I’ve done fifteen years my personal development. Bravo, Mr. Stone !!! Job very well done

Employee Motivation – 10 Tips to Boost Job performance

[ad_1]

Increase employee performance by Harnessing the Power of Motivation

employee motivation and productivity can be enhanced and add by creating a work environment that maximizes the factors affecting performance. These components are simple to understand, easy to measure, and can add tremendous value to any organization that is willing to implement them. Use these 10 tips to ensure that employees are energized and inspired to produce the best possible result.

1. Interesting Work

Internal motivation comes from cutting the joy and pleasure of doing the task. When you read a great book, no one has to pay for each page you read. It is a pleasure to learn how the story progresses and watch the plot unfold. It’s the same way with employee motivation. To optimize the performance of an employee, find out what employees like about their jobs and then try to add more projects that align with their own natural talents and interests.

2. Appreciation & Recognition

William James said, “The deepest craving of human nature is to be appreciated.” It does not matter how much you pay someone, everyone will know that their efforts are seen and appreciated, especially of their manager. Do not just send them a thank you e-mail – which means that you care enough to press the “Enter” key. If you really want to thank someone buy the real “Thank You” card and describe how their behavior and performance has added value to the team and organization. Make it a point to catch people doing things right and they will inevitably do the right thing more often.

3. The emotional part in the work process

Studies show that when people get to participate in to create a system or process, they are more likely to follow it, but one simply imposed on them by external specialist. Recognizing that the people doing the job to have knowledge of how it can be done better, faster and cheaper. If you want them to tell you, then make it easy for them to offer suggestions and reward employees who contribute ideas that add value to the bottom line.

4. Achievements

Napoleon once remarked, “It’s amazing how willing they are to risk their lives for a little tin and tape to be feeding them.” Awards and prizes can serve as a great motivator to harness the power of healthy competition. It is always better to use rewards that are meaningful and motivating. When an employee exceeds your expectations, then be sure to recognize their achievements. During the day someone stops, they will pack up these awards and prizes serve as a good reminder of a wonderful career.

5. Job

If everyone had what it takes to be an entrepreneur, there would be no General Electric or Toyota and we would all be buying products from artisans and craft workers. Fortunately, many people prefer to be part of a large organization and can be more productive when they get to focus on doing their job instead of worrying about developing a business or marketing strategy. People say that they are lucky to have a job creates an atmosphere of fear and worry that reduces job performance. Instead tell employees that the company is lucky to have such a skilled and committed employees and people will take pride in their work and their company.

6. Increased Responsibility

We all know that some workers lack ambition and have no desire to go out in practice, the vast majority of employees want opportunities to more responsibilities and add more value to the organization. Always be aware of the training opportunities that will equip workers with the skills and tools that they will need to go to work. Always try to fill positions with internal candidates before looking for an external candidate. This will create a culture of professional development and preserve institutional memory and organizational knowledge so that it can be transferred to the rising workers as they move into their own process.

7. Good Wages

Robert Bosch, founder of the world’s largest auto parts supplier, said: “I do not pay good wages because I have a lot of money, I have a lot of money because I pay good wages. “If you want motivated, high productive employees that you have to pay such persons in accordance with their capabilities and performance. Good employees are motivated by more than just good wages, but never allow low wages to be wedge competitor can use to steal away your best people.

8. Good working conditions

If you want to get the most out of people you need to create an environment that facilitates success. At a minimum, you must provide a safe, clean, and sanitary workplace. To get the most out of employees, help them take pride in their work space, even if it is only a cubicle or workstation. Allow people to personalize their own work sites with pictures or small trinkets so they will feel like they have a place that belongs only to them.

9. Being part of Team

Be part of a dysfunctional team is emotionally draining experience resulting in low morale, low productivity and high turnover. The great coach Vince Lombardi once remarked, “Individual commitment to a group effort -. That’s what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a culture work” We are all social beings and we all want to be part of a healthy team where we can give and receive support, help, and encouragement. Organizations can harness this natural desire of people by aligning employee efforts to achieve the goals that are mutually beneficial for both the organization and its employees.

10. Help with personal problems

How many times have you heard of a bad boss who told their employees to leave their problems at the door so that they could concentrate on work his? Unfortunately, after that they probably their interest and productivity at the door as well. Smart managers know that it is not their job to be a therapist, but it’s your job to recognize when one of their employees to have personal problems that affect job performance. They need to have open lines of honest communication so that employees can feel encouraged to ask for help and then directed to the human resources department or employee support their programs.

Motivational Songs For Kids of All Ages

[ad_1]

Motivational Songs are good for the mind, body and spirit in kids of all ages. If you are like me, a kid staring at 40, listening to motivational songs gives me that much needed pick-me-up in the middle of the day transforming my entire mood, bringing me to my feet, and inviting me to dance. And more importantly, for my own kids, motivational songs teach valuable life lessons that will conjure up powerful memories for many years to come.

A song is motivational if it has a positive and encouraging message. For example, lyrics like "You can get it if you really want, but you must try," suggest ideas of determination and hard work. However, some songs might have an upbeat rhythm that frees the mind and moves the body … like in the theme song from the Rocky series "Gonna Fly Now". That invigorating horn arrangement, along with that rock guitar solo, oh and that string movement are so powerful it gives you that little push, the extra energy to get up and go.

Even school teachers find that the right music helps facilitate learning by creating a desirable atmosphere and energizes activities for children. It can also help them to increase their attention, improve their memory, release tension, and so much more. How cool is that?

As a mother of 2 small children, I also find that motivational songs give them positive sayings that you will not be embarrassed to hear them repeat or sing along to. Subsequently, for parents, motivational lyrics become words of wisdom to use when teaching kids about the "trials and tribulations" of life that Princess Tiana sings about in "Almost There" (SEE BELOW). Basically, they work just like inspirational quotes do. But, since they have the ability to get stuck in the listener's head and repeat into oblivion, motivational songs are that much more powerful!

Fortunately, motivational songs can be found in all genres and from an array of artists old and new, popular and not so popular. Although there are so many to choose from, here are just a few I have introduced my children to. These are in no particular order.

1. "Accentuate the Positive" sung by Dr. John, is a highly stylized version of the old standard that was featured in the movie The Mighty Ducks. This one leaves them singing along to some very good words of wisdom that were originally written by Harold Arlen who was reported to have been inspired by a church sermon he had heard with the same title.

2. "You Can Fly! You Can Fly! You Can Fly!" is a beloved Disney classic tune from Peter Pan. Its charismatic "old school" charm is still refreshing after all of these years.

3. "We Did It!" from Dora the Explorer series is simply a celebration of achievement. It has an undeniably infectious beat and always brings you to your feet to dance.

4. "Walking Tall" by Ziggy Marley and featuring Paul Simon, is a new catchy tune written in the tradition of his father's positive lyricism. There is an important lesson being taught here, and is done in such a cute way that it is destined to become a hit!

5. "Tomorrow" sung by Alicia Morton from the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Annie. I can recall those lyrics being there for me growing up, and hope other children find them as equally encouraging.

6. Although "Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah" sung by James Baskett is not a favorite yet amongst my kiddies, Grandma loves it and every time we are in the car, that is her first request. Maybe I should have picked the Miley Cyrus version … which leads me to …

7. "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus is the one the 3-year-old loves best. There is a great message in this one, too. But, I do not even think she cares! It's Hannah Montana!

8. "All Star" by Smash Mouth is a late nineties classic with a great message so wholesome it has already been featured in countless movies, commercials, and "best of" compilations and never gets old. Not only does it bring you to your feet, but it fills your kids' mouths with some great words that can boost self-esteem and inner confidence.

9. "Three Little Birds" by Bob Marley is a reggae classic that also hits home for so many people … "Do not worry 'bout a thing … every little thing's gonna be alright." Who does not need to here that from time to time? It's a great song for kids and certainly has lyrics to live by.

10. "My Favorite Things" by Julie Andrews is first and foremost always a great vocal workout! She hits those notes and holds them as long as only she can. But in her rendition of this popular standard, she clearly delivers a great solution to anyone feeling down in the dumps … Make a list of your favorite things. Pull them out when you need them, and let it work miracles on your mood. Great idea!

11. "Almost There" by Anika Noni Rose from Disney's new The Princess and the Frog film is so good it was nominated for an Academy Award this year. It's so easy to sing along to, all the while relaying an important message about determination. How many times have you needed a tune like this to help you stay motivated when nearing the finish line?

The important thing to remember is that by taking the time to do a little picking and choosing of what they listen to, just like they monitor what they watch, parents can regain some power to control the ideas and images that penetrate their children's minds. Furthermore, by feeding them with positive ideas and images through music, parents can program their children to become stronger, more independent, and successful individuals. Pretty cool, huh?

And, did I mention CHEAP? Amazon not only lists "Walk Tall" by Ziggy Marley as FREE, but each download is only .99 cents a piece. And, for a collection of 11 songs, that totals out to about $ 9.90. Now that's a bargain! You do not even have to leave the comfort of your home. It downloads instantly and you can unveil it to your kids within minutes.

Simply put, motivational songs are a fun, easy, and cheap way to teach your children about hard work, discipline, determination, respect for others and more. And as parents, this is the most important work we can do and motivational songs allow us to do it "in the most delightful way!"

How Many Summers Do You Have Left?

[ad_1]

Different things motivate different people. For some people it's the threat of punishment if something is not done. For others it's the promise of an award awaiting after hard work. Or, it can be a simple thing, such as changing one's state or focus. One of the best motivational quotes I have heard in a long time is "How Many Summers Do You Have Left?"

This line was shared with me by a friend who is taking an entire one-month vacation this summer to be with his family – to not "do" anything and just "be" with them. Knowing that this friend has a crammed schedule as a CEO, I was very curious how he managed to get so much free time, and I asked him about it.

He said years ago he had a mentor who practiced this same annual ritual, of taking a one-month vacation with his family, and he had the same question of how this was possible.

His mentor's response changed his life. It was: "How many more summers do you think you have left to enjoy?"

That one question inspired my friend to change everything, because he has a wife, kids, and grandkids. That question got him in touch with how much they mean to him, and how much he wants to spend quality time with them.

Even though I do not have a wife or kids, I was equally impacted by this question, because there are many things that I am passionate about, and I am over 60 years old. I have a burning desire to inspire other people, so that their lives can be better. I feel this is my life purpose, and I do not know how long I have to fulfill it.

Try it for yourself:

"How many more summers do I think I have left to …"

… Do something you've secretly wanted to all your life

… Not worry about what may happen

… Start your dream business

… Lose weight

… Go on a retreat

… Write a book

… Travel.

… Etc …

And then, follow your heart.

Do not let other people hold you back from whatever you have chosen.

What if the person holding you back is yourself? If taking dedicating one month to your passion seems ludicrous and unreachable, it probably will not happen! The secret to making this real is to feel, visualize, and know that is it real. You must be so certain that it will happen, that for you there is no other option. When you have this clarity, the universe with make it possible.
