If you’ve ever tried to break a bad habit, chances are that you know it can be frustrating and seems almost impossible to change something about the you. The problem usually resides within mindset – a subconscious belief structure that automatically controls everything you think and do.

I have struggled with personal development for many years, and have the benefit of hindsight when it comes to analyzing what has worked and what has not. For those of you new to the idea of ​​perception, I sat down and hammered out this list of effective techniques to help create himself in the best image. Enjoy!

Conscious Change – For some people, the best way to start a major change is starting conscious – with emphasis on actively guide your thoughts and control your beliefs until they become automatic.

  17. Please “quote board” with motivational quotes. A large poster will do – and read the downtime for inspiration.
  18. Turn off the TV – do everything you can to phase out mind-numbing programming of lifestyle.
  19. Ask “Did I make the most of this day?” every night before going to bed. Attempts to answer a resounding yes to the question – but always be honest, or it is meaningless.
  20. Blog progress. Try to get a few readers – just to have someone to be responsible to help you keep your eye on the ball.

Concentration – Learning to learn your ability to focus and concentrate on the task at hand can provide great benefits in all areas of life. These tips should help you achieve just that, and prevent you from feeling overwhelmed or frustrated with daily tasks or larger goals.

  1. The best time to concentrate after reading something that is inspiring – as you are filled with longing for. Make it a habit before doing something you know needs to be done (but you do not really want to do).
  2. Watch yourself during the day and make sure muscles do not get overly relaxed or strained.

  4. When you decide to do something, eliminate all other tasks from your mind while you are working. Thinking about other things while you are working on something will only lead to frustration and poor quality work.
