I Love Teamwork – Benefits of creating a great team

[ad_1]

What is it all about

What is teamwork? Why is it that a group of people can be more successful than you win one? I would like to try to answer these questions with reference to my own experience.

Teamwork is obviously a subject about which many seek to know more. If you search the internet for teamwork related resources and a plethora of information turns up for free. Team building activities, teamwork games, teamwork Teamwork motivational articles and quotes be just some of the resources available to the research.

To collect my own thoughts I looked back over my own experience and thought the best team I have worked with, I’ve wondered what made the team much and asked myself questions: Why did the we all work so well together? Why could we achieve more than the sum of our success?

It made me think about what stops teams to work well, too, what prevents them from being a team?

What is it that makes a team great ?

Here’s a few Dictionary definitions:

Team – “two or more persons working together”

Teamwork – “combined action of a team, especially when effective and efficient”.

In my analysis of the key words are “working together” and “the most effective and efficient”.

You see these two short sentences describe me what a great team is all about. I’ll give another dictionary definition before I go on

Team-spirit – the spirit of a group that allows members want the group to succeed

I agree with that definition, there is nothing quite as being a member of a great team, where everyone is working together in harmony, their unique abilities activated suddenly focused. It is really very effective, it makes you feel that together you could achieve anything. You could probably also !!

Why can the team be more effective than one person?

Physical law would tend to indicate that the total capacity of the group should not be more than the sum of the abilities of each team member, and may be slightly reduced due to inefficiencies within the group. Unfortunately, this is often appropriate for many so-called point, because in truth they are just a group of people who suffer from a lack of motivation and individual self-interest, not what I would define as a team. True teams are empowered by team-spirit, willingness to work as a member of the group rather than an individual. Persons authorized under the team-spirit from a much higher motivation and therefore achieve more than they would win one. It follows then that a whole group of people empowered team-spirit will reach more than all its people would only.

What motivates people to work as a team ?

I will never forget my first experience of working with a very inspired team, it was awesome! You can actually feel the energy it generated! I was a member of a large team of engineers, we were all working together to develop gasoline injection system. Every member of the team was great! Development engineers worked with enthusiasm to produce ideas and solutions to solve any challenges that come. The software engineers quickly and easily implemented ideas and solutions, and turned them into practical, working piece of electronic engineering. Application engineers began software system and then made to work effectively, they fettled and set them in the real world solutions. Every member of the team was extremely talented and each of us was driven by the wish to see the team deal, as we did with bells on!

What de-motivates team?

I have also experienced the frustration of working with a group that simply was not passed. I have discovered that even though the group has one or two inspired individuals will still not know whether other members just lay back and bask in the warm light of inspiration. It led me to think hard about what stops a group of companies that will mate or what stops a person from developing team-spirit.

I think the most fundamental factor is the attitude of the individual themselves. While it is possible to make the group a team under difficult circumstances, escaping from a certain way, for example, this effect is only temporary. Prolonged team will only work if all parties have the will and the discipline to act as a team, there is little room for self-interest and no room for laziness, this feature can reduce respect for each other and without singly passed days are numbered. I believe that some members of the group manages to develop team-spirit making it requires some personal growth, a willingness to put aside their own needs and be supported by others. An individual background or psychological makeup can prevent them from taking this important step, they may be able to have regular exposure to full-on team-spirit but some folks just never get there.

How can you create a team

Survival simulation for building a team -? Exercise in the survival of the outdoor team building the center is a great example of forcing the team to work together under difficult circumstances, they have to pull together to get through. I’m not sure how long this type of incentive will last though, as instant boost it certainly is a great idea but will be backed up by more regular exercise team motivation.

courses to improve teamwork – the Internet is littered with companies that can run motivational team workshops to provide regular backup to bigger exercises like the one above.

The Internet – It is a great resource if you are looking for a lower cost solution, there are hundreds of sites that offer free games and teamwork teamwork videos.

Teaching – This is a great way to instill personal respect in the team. Older members Cab offer advice and experience to help younger members to grow in a non-threatening environment.

Personal training – Yet another way to provide individuals with a forum where they can explore their own actions, strengths and weaknesses and use what they find to grow.

Social time – I think it goes without saying that it is important for the team to spend social time together too. Friendships are grown here and it is up to the interests of the team in the long run.

If you want a job to do, build team.

1. Pick individuals carefully, the more motivated and self-aware they are better.

2. keep them motivated with regular events team building.

3. Foster respect by rewarding honesty and integrity at all times. A blame culture will eat away at your team-spirit.

4. Add the self-consciousness of every member with regular training and teaching
